"Fresh Ramen, Made in Brooklyn" is clearly scrawled on Ichiran's signage at its Brooklyn location. The outpost is the Japanese chain's first U.S. spot, which opened mid-October and received much fanfare for it's delicious bowls of soupy goodness. With "fresh" being an important factor to what makes great ramen, Ichiran has also constructed its own noodle-making facility in the same space as the restaurant.
